It has been over two months since we held the None Barren Word clinic where we ministered to families standing in faith for the fruit of the womb. What a time of the manifest presence of God. We know that we heard from heaven and received what was already done, our hearts’ desire – the fruit of the womb.
It is the same for each of us. We each have things we are standing in faith for; we are nursing in our spiritual wombs. The question I want to challenge us to think about is this - ‘what do we do, from the time of amen, I receive by faith, till when we can say - ‘here is the manifestation’? This question is important because the Word of God says the doer, not the hearer is blessed or receives (James 1:22-25).
The answer to this question is what I have tagged the ‘in-between’ zone. Here are a few thoughts on what God requires
Calling things that be not as though they were -- God calls the things that be not as though they were. Genesis 1 is a great example. called it and so it was. Abraham obeyed God in this, calling himself Abraham, the father of many nations when he did not have any children as yet; and Abraham is our father. He called things that (Romans 4:17). We should be doing this too.
When you call things that be not as though they were, you are applying the spiritual force of faith to change to conform with what Jesus already obtained for you over 2,000 years ago. Faith takes what grace so mercifully provided; what God already planned.
This is God’s plan and only you can stop it. The plan of God is in past tense and is already accomplished. We don’t earn it, we take it. We take it by faith and the first of faith is always words. What are you saying that you should not be saying? What should you be saying that you are not saying? Mark 11:23-24). What you tolerate will never change. Don’t call yourself what the world calls you or what your circumstances speak to you. Don’t call yourself, barren, broke, sick etc. Declare and agree with God on what He says! He calls you the father/mother of children, blessed, prosperous, well etc. This is the plan of God for your life and He expects it to come pass. Agree with God and don’t be distracted from the plan. Engaging your mouth in the manifestation of your victory will help you keep your focus. As you acknowledge all that is already in you, your faith becomes effective.
We overcome the wicked one, Satan, by the blood of the Lamb and by our testimony. The devil cannot do anything about the blood of the Lamb – it has already been shed on our behalf and it continues to speak for us. However, the devil comes after our testimony and we are the ones with the authority to stop him. Our testimony is what we say and the devil’s warfare is thoughts in our minds to get us to speak his plan and not God’s plan. Resist him!
Friend, I assure you that there will be contradictory circumstances. What will you do? Change your words, life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Change your thoughts, for as a man thinks in his heart so is he (Proverbs 23:7). This is how dead things are quickened or made alive.
You are not forgotten, God is mindful of you. Psalm 115:12 (NASB) The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.
Yours in His service,
