Happy New year greetings from Ayodola and the W2NM team. Welcome to the dawn of a new year, of a new decade and to what we know in the spirit, is a new season in the body of Christ. The Word of the Lord has come that ‘2020 will be a year of transition’. What does that mean? Transition is defined as the process or a period of changing from one state or condition to another. Other words for transition are, change, evolution, changeover, shift and move. When the Lord spoke this word to me, (not that I heard an audible voice, but I heard this in my spirit) I began to meditate on what transition means from God’s perspective. When God moves a person from one state or condition to another it is always a move to a better or higher state of being. How do I know this? The scriptures reveal that God’s intention is for us to go from faith to faith (Romans 1:17), from strength to strength (Psalm 84:7), and from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:16-18). The scriptures carry the promise of an endless possibility of growth and transformation for the believer who is yielded to the process of transition.
It is all well and good to talk about transition, but we cannot engage in a process that we do not understand. For us to be a partaker of the promise or of the prophetic Word of God, we need to apply it in our lives and actively engage with the Word. The bible says that we are to make a good warfare with the Word (1 Timothy 1:18). The prophetic Word of God will not come to pass unless we become doers of that word. The fact that it is promised does not mean it will automatically come to pass. We must receive by faith what grace has already provided. For us to experience transition to the next level and season, we have to believe for it, and we have to contend for it. How will we do this? How will transition occur? Only one way – by the renewal of our minds with the Word of God. Why? Because the renewal of our minds is what transforms our thinking. The bible says that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). If we do not think what God is thinking, planning and imagining for us, we cannot enter it. Each of us will have to be transformed by the renewing of our minds with the Word of God. Romans 12:2 says, "and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect".
As we meditate or think on or ponder on the Word of God, a picture of God’s intention and plans for the next level we are transitioning to will be painted in our hearts. This process births hope in our hearts and it is that hope that comes as the result of the Word that faith gives substance to (Hebrews 11:1). We encourage you to purpose to renew and transform your mind in 2020 so you will experience the transition God has planned for you. Remember, great expectation breeds great manifestations.
Yours in His service,
Ayodola & the W2NM Team
